At the moment there is no National Register for Reiki practitioners but this is anticipated to be in place by 2008. A good starting point for now is the UK Reiki Federation which has a searchable database of registered practitioners and teachers. I am registered with the UK Reiki Federation as a Master Teacher. My registration number is N2829.

Many people go by recommendations from friends or family. I do advise that you actually speak to the person before you make an appointment as it is important that you feel comfortable about the healer which you choose. I always offer a free consultation so that clients can make a more informed decision. Some charge for this initial consultation so do check that out when you make a booking.
